The filter housing contains two filter elements, one of these is flowed through in regular filter operation. The backflushing process is effected by the differential pressure unit with a pilot valve. This allows a completely autonomous start of the backflushing process. there is no need for additional control.
Also there is the possibility of manual triggering directly on the control unit. By backflushing, the contamination retained by the filter element is derived from the filter interior via a separate filter outlet.
